Some
local attractions
Treago Farm is the perfect base from
which to explore all the natural beauty and interests that Cornwall
has to offer. It's a short drive to Holywell Bay Theme Park, a perfect
day out for all the family. The city of Truro with it's splendid
Cathedral is only a 15 minute drive away, with cobbled streets housing
a wealth of high street shops, a cinema, museums, varied restaurants
and bars.
Drive to the South coast to visit
the world renowned Eden Project, near St.Austell. To the North is
nearby Newquay with a bustling town life, a great choice of places
to eat, a varied choice of beautiful beaches to visit, including
the world famous surfing beach of Fistral Beach. There is also a
busy working harbour that can offer boat trips and deep sea fishing
and a sandy beach with a family of sea lions. The Blue Reef Aquarium
and a world renowned zoo should also be put on the itinerary if
visiting Newquay.
Further a field, The Tate Modern
and famous Hepburn sculptures can be found in the picturesque seaside
village and artists haven of St. Ives, with narrow windy streets
housing galleries cafes and coffee shops. Falmouth with its busy,
deep water harbour has the uniquely housed, Maritime Museum telling
the story boats and shipping throughout the years.
